Educational Qualification Nuclear Power Corporation Vacancy 2024

Category-I Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Diploma Holders in Engineering:

Qualification: Diploma with a minimum of 60% marks in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, recognized by the Government of India.
Duration: The diploma should be of 3 years after SSC/HSC or through lateral entry to the 2nd year after HSC.
English Requirement: English should have been a subject either at SSC or HSC level.
Note: Candidates who pursued Diploma through lateral entry to the second year after SSC + ITI are not eligible.

Category-I Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Science Graduates:

Qualification: B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc. shall be with Physics as principal and Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary, or with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage.
Mathematics Requirement: Mathematics at H.S.C. (10+2) level is essential.
English Requirement: English should be one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examinations.
Ineligibility: Candidates with Mathematics as the principal subject at B.Sc. are not eligible.

Pay Scale

The stipend is provided during the training period, and the emoluments for the Scientific Assistant/B position include basic pay, DA (Dearness Allowance) at 46% (w.e.f. 1st July 2023), and other applicable allowances.
