Mahindra Scorpio X: Mahindra & Mahindra Limited has trademarked its new SUV, the Mahindra Scorpio X, for the Indian market. Originally unveiled globally and first launched in South Africa, the Scorpio X is now being prepared for its launch in India.

Initially introduced as a pickup truck in South Africa last year, the Scorpio X is expected to be launched worldwide in 2025.

Exterior Features:

At the front, the Scorpio X sports a modified bumper with new LED daytime running lights (DRLs), while the side profile showcases off-roading tyres. It also features new diamond-cut alloy wheels, footstep, and various off-road accessories.

The Scorpio X, based on the Mahindra Scorpio N, boasts several design updates that give it a bold and aggressive appearance.

Interior and Cabin:

While retaining many general features and amenities of the Scorpio N, the cabin of the Scorpio X is expected to receive some cosmetic changes and updates.

Safety and Features:

The Scorpio X is likely to offer standard features and amenities found in the Scorpio N, with possible enhancements in certain areas. Reports suggest it may also come equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology.

Engine and Transmission:

Powered by the same engine options as the Scorpio N but with improved output, the Scorpio X may offer a choice of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions. It is also expected to feature advanced four-wheel drive technology and offer four driving modes: Normal, Snow, Mud, and Sand.

Expected Launch in India:

The Mahindra Scorpio X is anticipated to be launched in the Indian market by 2025. Currently, Mahindra has the new XUV300 facelift and the 5-door Mahindra Thar available, with plans for launch soon.

Price Range in India:

The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio X pickup truck is expected to be priced starting from around ₹12 lakh and going up to ₹22 lakh in India, offering unmatched value in its segment.
